Jones Family of Companies Announces Exciting Changes to Leadership Team

Two New Vice Presidential Roles Emerge

Jones Family of Companies is pleased to announce developments within their leadership team. In January 2016, Andrew Dailey, former Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the Yarn division, transferred his 25 years of Jones’ sales and customer relationship development skills to serve as Jones Nonwovens’ Vice President of Sales. At the same time, Jeremy Raines, who has been with Jones for over 26 years in various roles, began his transition into his new role as Vice President for the Jones Yarn division.

“Although I am still with Jones Family of Companies, it was a difficult decision to leave the yarn division. However, I am confident that Jeremy and the Jones yarn team will continue to pursue the highest levels of customer satisfaction with quality products and unmatched service,” said Dailey. “Jones will continue to be a valued industry-leading supplier in the floor care market.”

“We are excited to have Andrew coming to join the Jones Nonwovens sales team,” said Kenny Oliver, President of Jones Nonwovens. “Andrew brings a new set of ideas to the Nonwovens side, and we are confident the transition will bring about some great new insights to take to not only our core market but also some of the exciting new adjacent markets we’re currently exploring.”

Dailey joined Jones Companies Ltd. in 1991 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing as the first non-Jones family member to represent the organization. With Dailey’s direction, the company expanded its product offerings, advancing into the apparel, home furnishings and upholstery markets. In response to the declining textile markets following NAFTA, Jones refocused on its primary products for the floor care market. Dailey helped to bring new products into the mix to broaden Jones’ reach, introducing the Next Generation and nWET product lines. In concert with Jones’ development of a Strategic Leadership Team in 2014 and the corporate rebranding to the Jones Family of Companies, Dailey will transfer his 25 years of Jones sales and customer relationship development skills to the Jones Nonwovens products as Vice President of Sales. In addition to working with the Nonwoven sales team and national accounts in the core nonwoven markets, he will be involved with new products and new market development.

“I am extremely excited to join the Nonwovens division,” said Dailey. “We have achieved a significant value position in our core products engineered for the bedding market, and we have positioned the business to apply the same value-adding strategies to bring innovative products to our new target markets.”

Raines began his career as a machine operator in 1989 for Jones Companies in Humboldt, TN at the Avondale plant. After moving into maintenance and a supervisory role, Raines transferred to the main office in 1995, where he worked in scheduling, shipping and customer service. During this time, Raines completed his undergraduate degree, and in 2006, he accepted a position as Plant Manager with their nonwovens division, Jones Fiber Products, in North Las Vegas, NV. There, Raines cut his teeth on the start-up and overall management of a plant with total control and ultimate responsibility. Raines gained additional experience when he transferred to the Memphis, TN operation and managed it for five years. He completed his EMBA in 2015. While in Memphis, Raines gained experience with raw materials and in sales while working with the company President, Kenny Oliver, and Vice President of Sales, Alan Posner. Raines then managed Jones Fiber Product’s Morristown, TN plant in 2015 before assuming his current role. Raines looks forward to putting his education and years of experience to good use as he prepares to manage the overall business unit for Jones Companies.

“I’m looking forward to getting reacquainted with all of the Jones Yarn customers and not only working with them but also partnering with them to find solutions to their needs,” said Raines.

“We wish Jeremy great success on the Yarn side of our business,” said Oliver. “I know the kind of energy that he brings to any opportunity and am excited to see what new ideas he can bring to reality in that division. With these changes, we feel that our team is ready to meet the challenges of the future in our marketplace. We are excited for the growth that we know awaits our efforts.”
